Reed here.
I've been keeping a blog on vox. I had a different on here, on blogger, then I switched, and I can't decide which I like better. Either way, I can't seem to get any readers.
What makes a blog worth reading? Or, more to the point, worth following?
I don't have much money. I love all those natural fiber/luxury yarns, but that's exactly what they are. Luxuries. I can hardly ever afford them, let alone afford to make myself a sweater out of them!
And I don't have a lot of free time. I work full time, I'm married, and a mother. My husband goes to school and works, so I only see him on the weekends. Meaning all the cooking, laundry and cleaning falls to me.
Right now, I prefer cheap, easy knits. I'm making a simple garter stitch scarf in Gryffindor colors for my daughter, she's going to be Hermione Granger for Halloween. I'm also working on a simple boat neck sweater for my aunt's soon-to-be one year old. When I'm done, I'm not sure what I'm going to make. I might make the Serenity blanket, or....I don't know. I have knitters block!
What am I listening to? Right now, it's a whole lot of Meiko and Adele. Throw in a little Incubus, Fall Out Boy and Chevelle, and you've got a great mix. Oh, and April Smith. Love her voice.
P.S. The picture is of Morgan. She's modeling the hat and scarf I just finished for my daughter.

Morgan is very cute and very easy going by the look of it! I put some reindeer horns on my dog last Christmas and he was not amused! Winter is great for knitters! All those scarves, hats and blankets! Good luck with your new blog :-)
Thanks for trying to visit my blog. I see that I misspelled blogspot. That is why the link didn't work.
Anyway, that hat and scarf look adorable on your dog. I hope your daughter likes them.
What a super cute pup! I'm sure your daughter will just love what her mommy made her!
